Van/Camper/Bus Conversion
The demand for natural products is also becoming increasingly apparent in camper/vehicle conversions.
We recommend installing a 3-5mm roll of cork on the inside wall of the bus using Wakol cork adhesive.
The rolled cork is good for sound and heat insulation and also absorbs condensation.
Ariane rockets, for example, use an aluminum honeycomb core structure covered with CFRP sandwich elements. The interior is often lined with cork or plastics for sound insulation.
The use of sheep's wool or hemp panels between the structural beams in the roof or wall is very advantageous, as these materials can absorb and release up to 30% moisture. Depending on the interior cladding, a moisture-variable vapor barrier INTELLO (proclima Switzerland) is also recommended.
